Alright so this is a few hours of footage testing the Pimax Dream Air SE’s tracking. This was meant to go up with my review but that’s been delayed for a bit so putting this one up as a hold over. I tried 9 games of various types and in lots of conditions so you can watch for yourself and make a judgement, timestamp in the description.
I had planned to use a webcam for all the games but a heatwave hit and I just couldn’t do it in my usual outfit. It was lasting long enough I didn’t wanna delay things even more so I just recorded anyway, I did have a large fan blowing on my to help cool down so that did impact the audio quality a bit but the noise suppression on the SE was good enough to get rid of it, even if it made the audio a bit tinny and processed sounding. I also had to run with what I had because my SE broke and had to be replaced so there wasn’t time to get anymore games or refine some tests, but hope this is a good enough showcase of the tracking.
I tried to avoid doing a bunch of cuts but given this was a tracking showcase, if there was a long gap of nothing really happening or I had to stop for any reason, I’d usually cut ahead.
