We’re inviting everyone to create and share a game optimization guide for Pimax headsets — any model (Dream Air series, Crystal series, 8K series, 5K series, and beyond). Written guide or video, your choice.

How to enter:

  1. Create a guide showing how you optimize your Pimax for gaming — a full walkthrough or a focused deep-dive on one aspect.
  2. Format is up to you: written post, video, or screen-recorded walkthrough.
  3. Post your submission in OpenMR before 31st Oct.
  4. Include your headset model, GPU/PC specs, and the games you tested with.
  5. Send the post link to @PimaxQuorra via DM.

Ideas for what to cover (pick what’s relevant to your setup):

  • Render resolution vs. refresh rate — finding your sweet spot per game
  • Foveated rendering setup (where supported) and its performance impact
  • Pimax Play / EVO vs. SteamVR settings — which gives better results for which titles
  • GPU settings (NVIDIA/AMD control panel tweaks, supersampling, etc.)
  • Per-game tweaks — settings that made a noticeable difference in specific titles
  • Fixing stutter, reprojection artifacts, or frame drops
  • Before/after benchmarks or FPS comparisons (great for video entries!)
