Things not to do with Vision Pro
The idea of âshowing the eyes when doing pass-throughâ should be very popular soon.
Maybe Quest 4 or Pico 5 will adopt this idea and put a low-res screen in the front as well.
It is an interesting idea. However also seens like a plot for a dystopian future. On a darker thought of a time when one of the first things ppl will put on is there Vision Visor to see the enhanced world.
Apple Vision seems to be a âeye openerâ, which means it will open a lot of peopleâs eyes to see whatâs possible with VR/AR/XR.
Then other companies will follow Appleâs pursuit, as they all did before. Many similar products will come out with similar functionalities. The steep price will drop and we the VR users will be benefited. I am happy to see such trend is forming.
With all the downsides of Appleâs initial pitch being focused on a less than exciting 2D screens in space machine, you just know that theyâll open the eyes of the competition on some usability aspects and smooth operation, and even if theyâd achieve nothing else that would already be a welcome addition.
But I believe they deliberately undersold the capabilities of the Vision Pro, to leave room for more exciting pitches when the consumer version for larger spread is released in 2025.
