Pimax Crystal Light shipping starts soon

In our internal testing, the Crystal Light runs extremely smooth, as nearly all of its features are inherited from the Crystal. The beta test has already started, with headsets having shipped out to selected users across the world. Not just that. The Crystal Light has already had its first offline demo at the 2024 Chinese Formula 1 Grand Prix, with the European and US roadshow starting soon. We’re also ready to ship the first batch of pre-orders at the end of this month.

If you’ve pre-ordered the Pimax Crystal Light, please keep an eye out on our social channels or your email, as we’ll soon reach out to you for the final payment.

Wide FOV lens update

The design has been finalized and we’ve shipped around 50 sets of lenses, yielding some positive reviews as well as suggestions to work on. Neil from Player1 Sim Gear: "The reason you need to get the lenses on your Crystal is because of the sense of speed. The additional 10 degrees on the outside of each of your eyes, gives your brain significantly more input on movement."

These earlier batches were made with a lens mold designed for small batches. We are now in the process of upgrading to a large-scale mold for the wide FOV lens. This mass-production mold should be ready for production around May 25th, continuing to ship to customers in June.

eagerly awaiting a progress update regarding the wigig module  just thought again about buying the wide lenses but I think I’m waiting for more reviews first.
I could imagine it will take at least three to five months until the module gets available? but I can imagine too that you possibly can’t bring in this info because it simply isn’t available for now. I’ve got time; and more of that than I like…

I believed there should be an update towards the Wigig this month.

nice  it’s a good day today.
from what was told from pimax representatives up to now and what we know in general atm I could imagine that it may arrive in market around the months August or September. when it goes all well for the dev Team
the release date I’m personally thinking about which could be realistic is roundabout December. so absolutely no hurries from my side, my mood is like “good things need their time”. take your time needed for perfecting this please

this device is a bit big for roomscale shooters, especially when it comes to games which have the backpack storing system: I’ve already hit my lighthouse-faceplate with the knuckles controllers some times so that there are cracks now on both sides where the plate protrudes from the crystals housing. only good that I own two faceplates hehe (ordering mistake from my side but I kept the second plate, just in case…).
but the crystal and its clarity produces an enormous amount of fun to play them and it will be even more nice without a cable yeah.

so I am really eagerly awaiting the wigig adapter hrhr
