The only Chinese chipmaker with an x86 license releases surprisingly modern

Wow, first Huawei’s Kirin 9000, now this KX-7000 chip!
Seems China already processed very advanced chip-making factories, but just no one knows where or even how they did it.

Often under estimated. Even though a lot of consumer electronic devices made there.

Add in there strong ingenuity like salvaging 4090s with the US embargoes in place. It shows their drive to succeed. The coming US election though may hamper international sales availability as many candidates seem to be trying to make China their focus.

This is not just salvaging. China actually is mass producing advance 5nm or 7nm chips in secret. KX-7000 chip is just another proof of that.

Very soon they don’t need to salvage any chips. They will just produce the latest AI chips of their own. Might not be as powerful as Nvidia’s, but they won’t be much slower either.

The truth is, the more US wants to cut off the advanced chip supply to China, the faster China will catch up. If the next president is doing the same like Biden, it will only help China to build up their own silicone industry.

Indeed. I believe often places like the USA forget how innovative Chinese are being where Black powder, Pasta, Ice Cream, Zippers and so much more.

The USA coming election though may hamper international sales as a lot of candidates are targeting China as part of their campaign platforms.
