How to Bring Up the Pimax and SteamVR Quick Menu Overlays

With the latest 1.38v client, you can access these two overlays without using a controller:

Pimax Quick-Menu Overlay:

  • Press and hold the + volume button for 4 seconds.
  • Navigate using head tracking. Use the volume buttons as confirmation keys.

SteamVR Overlay:

  • Press and hold the headset volume - button for 4 seconds to bring up the Steam quick menu.
  • Navigate using head tracking.
  • The volume buttons also act as confirmation keys.

Exiting the Quick Menu:

  • Press the volume key when the crosshair moves beyond the menu to exit.

Please note that this feature will require more optimization. In its current state, the audio indicator pops up when using it as a clicker.
